Build an inclusive community of passionate cyclists. Give back to our community through our cycling.
Our cycling community gives back through support of the Canary Challenge and Tour de Menlo.
Menlo Bike Club is honored to be a sponsor of the Canary Challenge, a Canary Foundation event supporting cutting-edge development of advanced tests for early cancer detection. Menlo Bike Club not only enters a team, we support the Canary Challenge by hosting training rides leading up to the event. Participants in the Canary Challenge are always welcome to join our training program, weekly rides, clinics, and special events to get you healthy and ready for the challenge. The event is extremely well supported and four different routes (ranging from 30 to 100 miles) offer something for every rider. The next Canary Challenge is September 30, 2017.
The Tour de Menlo is an annual ride sponsored by the Rotary Club of Menlo Park Foundation and the Almanac. Proceeds are used to support need-based programs offered by the Rotary Club Foundation, the Almanac’s Holiday Fund, and local nonprofits. Another well supported ride, the Tour de Menlo offers riders a choice of 65-, 46- and 35-mile routes. Menlo Bike Club has been active in increasing ridership and leading training rides. The Tour de Menlo takes place annually in August.
